Graywolf
Born and
raised in St Louis, Missouri. Job transfer later took
me to Houston, Texas for 9 years -- long enough that
I consider myself a Texican. Another job transfer
sent me to the "Dutch" country of southeastern
Pennsylvania -- specifically, Reading. Raised a family
of two really great kids -- on the other hand, met
and worked with Gramps for many years -- ( just pullin
his chain ). When the kids started their own wandering,
and I retired, moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fell
in love with the American Southwest on a vacation
trip when I was 12 years old -- it was just like coming
Home. Havn't been "everywhere", like the
song; but I've have been lucky enough to have visited
45 of the 48 lower American states -- and enjoyed
every one.
Country Music
Got my taste for Country Music, literally, at my Dad's
knee. Sitting in his lap, in the big green chair,
listening to The Grand Ole Opry and the Louisiana
Hayride. Dad came from a big family and everybody
played all of the string instruments -- except the
banjo, for some reason. Sunday afternoons at Grandpa's
were "pickin and singin" time -- and I loved
it. Mom was into music also, so an instrument was
a natural. I picked brass and ended up playing three
different instruments thru High School and College.
Lots of music and a TON of enjoyment. Didn't plan
on being a DJ, but one thing led to another and here
I am -- hoping I can pass some of this enjoyment to
you listeners.

Dunford
Faithful Sidekick and Designated Driver
To be honest, Dunford is a "used dog" --
we met at an Animal Shelter about two years ago. She's
a great buddy and a superior watch dog -- keeps us
safe from the Neighborhood Cat and United Parcel Service
drivers -- and as you know, she helps select music
for the show from time to time.
