CHOICES

Choices a song by George Jones and something your Always Country family made this past week. You may recall that in our last message we were planning on asking you to make a decision for us if your donations exceeded our annual costs. That promise still holds, however with the number of listeners we have had on a steady basis and the amount of donations we received in April we felt it necessary for us to make some choices.

As you may have seen this week we have increased our listener slots on our broadband feed from 450 to 500 listeners at a cost to us of an additional $43 per month. It's a chance we took because we believe you will continue to enjoy our music and support us as you have for the first four months of this year.

Now here is the amazing thing, we had been having 450 listeners at peak times consistently for over a week, but within 22 hours of increasing to 500 maximum listeners we had once again reached our limit. Not only that, we have reached 500 listeners on stereo everyday since the change. We thank you for that.

Our breakeven number for donations is now $43 per month up from $36 per month for the balance of the year. I need to remind you that this is the total amount we need per month and not from each listener. If you have helped us out already, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, if you haven't and enjoy our music consider a small donation when you can. Until then we'll keep playing your favorites.
